Psi Revamp

Infliction: Now deals low-moderate damage and attempts to drain mana (like Mind Blast does now)

Psychic Crush: Attempts a damaging knockdown

Psionic Blast: Hits the opponent with several small attacks

Mind Blast: Big nuke that deals increased damage based on missing mana (mix of % missing and total missing?)

Headache: Same

Forget: Same

Psychic Heal: Now also attempts to remove Slow/Weaken (assuming they get buffed)

Warp Time: Now slows attack rate and increases all move costs

Mind Whip: Now curses, punishes saves, and applies a mana drain at tick (instead of punishing hitroll)

Awe: Low duration effect that causes the target to deal less damage with all abilities



Overall the idea here is to make use of the Psi's existing lower-level spells while making their abilities more unique and synergistic with each other.

Great ideas all around.

Particular thoughts on each:

○ Infliction: it would be cool if it really *drained* mana, as in giving it back to the psi. Think of a mana version of lifetap.

○ Psychic Crush: basically a harrow? How about a faster (less lag), cheaper spell that deals bash damage (it's a crush!) for tagging?

○ Psionic Blast: basically the plans for magic missile, which I don't mind.

○ Mind Blast: I like the mana scaling part of it and it could work on so many different ways:
1. Increased damage based on enemy's max mana (value) = turns psis into godly anti casters (except for mages)
2. Increased damage based on enemy's missing mana (%) = synergy with mana burning effects : destroy mana to deal more damage
3. Increased damage based on psi's max mana (value) = slightly bad because would force stacking mana, like mages with hp
4. Increased damage based on psi's missing mana (%) = synergy with mana drain (infliction) : burn mana then replenish with infliction

○ Warp Time: I'd rather have it increase spell costs (+ attack debuff), something like 15-25% maybe?

○ Mind Whip: Leave mana drain for headache. Could increase spellcasting failure (or just debuff intelligence).

○ Awe: no opinion.
