For example, since Wednesday nights are generally slow, someone on staff could have a command to temporarily DOUBLE soul gem drop rates for a set amount of time. Or we could make it so that weekends through the day XP is doubled for leveling alts, or gold drop increases, game wide.
In addition to this, if there was a mprog trigger setup for this, we could make it so that if players completed a potentially hard quest, they could enable some of these settings themselves through work.
Any thoughts - both on the system idea and for more variables that could be set?
